Taylor's journey to fame began on YouTube. Taylor began with making ASMR videos with her smartphone. PewDiePie included her in his gaming video shortly after she reached 50k subscribers. This was about one and a half years following the release of her first video. Taylor quit making videos on her Youtube Channel after two months and nearly 100,000 subscribers. The reason for this was mostly because of technical problems with her brand new equipment and the overwhelming success of her channel. After taking a long month off, Taylor began making new videos. Taylor created the cult ASMR ten triggers to assist you in sleeping (35 million views as of the end of August in 2022). She appeared in August 2017 interview in a Shane Dawson videoand shortly after she hit 1 million viewers on YouTube. Wired UK estimates that her YouTube advertising revenue was $1,000 each week from February to March 2019.

Helfer was born in rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada in Canada, the children of Dennis and Elaine Helfer. She is born to German as well as English descent. She was a student at in the William E. Hay Composite High School situated in Stettler (Alberta). She worked and lived on the family's farm alongside her three sisters: Trena, Tammy and Tara. At the age of 17, The agent from her modeling agency noticed the model while waiting in line in a theatre.
