She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. Her first job was in real estate. She met Tarek El Moussa while working in the real estate industry. After the 2008 crash of the stock exchange many investors in real estate as well as homeowners lost their funds. Tarek El Moussa was nearly wiped out due to the 2008 market crash. They went from a home that cost $6,000 per month, to a $700/month apartment. The company slowly rebuilt as well as their economy. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek, in 2011, asked an associate to help him by creating an HGTV tape that showed Christina and him navigating an entire home from beginning to end. Pie Town Productions' executives got hold of the tape. The executives fell in love Tarek Christina. They officially signed a agreement with HGTV in the year 2012. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013, In seven seasons, the show aired from 2013 to 2017. On the show, Christina and Tarek would purchase properties, usually mid-income homes in Orange County, and would follow up with several months making changes so that they could sell the house for a profit. Tarek is in charge of the demolition, remodeling and design. Christina keeps everything running on schedule.

Tarek concentrates on demolition and renovation while Christina concentrates on style while also making sure all goes according to plan.
